John Wick has got a new lease of life. Keanu Reeves’ titular character in John Wick: Chapter 4 film has opened a host of possibilities for the character to develop and feature in more spinoffs. Directed byChad Stahelski, the action thriller recently released its 4th instalment. Reports suggest that makers are planning a new sequel series titled John Wick: Under the High Table.
What will the new sequel series explore?
The title John Wick: Under the High Table will be set after the events that took place in Chapter 4 in John Wick’s life. The official synopsis states: “John Wick has left the world of the High Table in a tenuous position and a collection of new characters will look to make a name for themselves while some of the franchise stalwart characters remain committed to the old-world order.” It aims “combine new and old and thrust the Wick universe into a new age."
The series will be written and directed by Robert Levine. He will also executive produce the feature along with Keanu, Chad, Thunder Road Films.
Notably, Chad is also expected to direct the pilot episode.

The only thing we are not exactly psyched about is that Keanu Reeves will not be acting in the show but will be hands on in creating the show.
John Wick: Under the High Table will mark the second series for the franchise, following The Continental: From the World of John Wick. The same is streaming on Prime Video.
What next for John Wick fans?
There will also be a John Wick yet-to-be-titled fifth instalment of the franchise. The fifth film will have Keanu Reeves reprise his iconic role, Chad will direct this feature too. Then there is one with Ana de Armas on her character Ballerina, which is set between the third and fourth instalments. John Wick Presents: Ballerina is slated to release in cinemas on June 6, 2025.
There is yet another with Donnie Yen's blind assassin Caine, who was introduced in John Wick: Chapter 4. The makers tease that it will "continue Donnie's story arc following the events of John Wick: Chapter 4, as Caine has been freed from his obligations to the High Table.”
