
Disney has shared a new release date calendar, and it has some of the biggest film titles including Star Wars' The Mandalorian & Grogy, Toy Story 5, and Moana among others.
On Friday (April 5), Disney finally unveiled the date of one of the most-anticipated movies i.e. Pixar's Toy Story 5.
Announced in February 2023, the long-awaited sequel is set to release on June 19, 2026. The last instalment of the animated film franchise came out in 2019 and earned over $1.073 billion worldwide.
Disney has not yet shared more details about the forthcoming movie, like who from the voice cast will reprise their roles.The Mandalorian & Grogu, a spinoff of the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorianwill release on May 22, 2026.
Directed by Jon Favreau, the new movie will be released seven years after the release of Star Wars' last movie, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian TV show, released on Disney+.

Meanwhile, the live-action version of Moana has been pushed to a year. The studio has pushed back Dwayne Johnson's movie to July 10, 2026. The filmwas slated to release on June 27, 2025.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson who is set to reprise the role of a Maui, isalso producingthe movie.
"I'm deeply humbled and overcome with gratitude to bring the beautiful story of Moana to the live-action big screen. This story is my culture, and this story is emblematic of our people's grace and warrior strength,'' Dwayne said at the time of the movie's announcement last year.

However, Moana 2 is scheduled to release on November 27, 2024.
Another film that has been mentioned in the new release date roster is Jared Leto's starrer Tron: Ares. The film, which is the sequel of the movies Tron (1982), and Tron: Legacy (2010), will hit the theatres on October 10, 2025.Joachim Rønning will direct the film.
Meanwhile, Rami Malek and Rachel Brosnahan's starrer The Amateur has been pushed to April 11, 2025, from November 8, 2024.
