Cardi B is not new to making a statement. The rapper recently announced her separation from partner Offset and hours after filing for divorce she revealed that they might not be together but she’s pregnant with his child.
Cardi B shocked her fans with a pregnancy announcement that read like a post-it note to self. She captioned the post: “With every ending comes a new beginning!” She hinted at her divorce with her husband Offset.
Cardi B is "grateful" for new baby
She further addressed her baby and wrote, “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
Cardi B and Offset's separation has been due for a while now and it’s all amicable. The Associated Press reported that her decision to divorce Offset “is not based on any one particular incident, it has been a long time coming and is amicable.”

Also, sources suggest that Cardi B and Offset have “grown apart.”
This isn’t the first time Cardi B has tried to end her marriage to Offset. In September 2020, she filed for divorce. At the time, she said that she didn’t wait until he cheated on her again. They reconciled after Offset promised to be better. In December 2023, Cardi B revealed she and Offset had called it quits. However, they appeared to be back on when they were spotted together at a Met Gala afterparty in May.
