Former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, Jake E. Lee, shot multiple times in Las Vegas

We wonder what the shooters were thinking as former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, Jake E. Lee was hit multiple times in a random Las Vegas episode on October 15. The veteran rock music guitarist was shot at, while he was walking his dog. 

The incident is currently under investigation. 

In a statement, Lee’s management told USA Today that the police think it "was completely random and occurred while Lee took his dog out for a walk in the early morning hours." They said that the musician is "fully conscious and doing well in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital. He is expected to fully recover."

Las Vegas police responded to a shooting incident according to the report. The statement said, "Officers arrived and located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The male was transported to the hospital. No arrests have been made at this time."

Jake E. Lee became well-known to rock music fans when he joined Ozzy Osbourne's band for the albums "Bark at the Moon" and "The Ultimate Sin”.

Jake then went on to form the band Badlands with former Black Sabbath singer Ray Gillen and Eric Singer. The band went on to release three albums. 

Post that, Jake formed a new band Red Dragon Cartel in 2013, which released albums "Red Dragon Cartel" in 2014 and "Patina" in 2018.

Jake has been absent from public appearances as he put a self-imposed absence from public performing because he suffered pain in his right hand and was working on pain management.

Earlier this October, he said in a new interview that he wants to start playing again and is looking forward to going on a tour soon. He said, "I wanna finish doing the 'Patina' tour, which got cancelled because of COVID. I would like to go out and do that (with) Red Dragon Cartel, focus on the 'Patina' record and do some more recording. We'll see where that goes."
