Coldplay’s ‘biggest ever show’ in Ahmedabad? Check ticket details

British band Coldplay has added another show to their India tour as they will head to the Indian city of Ahmedabad after their three shows in Mumbai once they arrive in India in January 2025.
The band shared this update to their X handle and wrote, “2025 AHMEDABAD DATE ANNOUNCED for Coldplay: The band will play their biggest ever show, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 25 January 2025. Tickets on sale Saturday, 16 November at 12pm IST.”
Coldplay’s India schedule
The band had earlier announced their schedule to be to 18, 19 and 20 of January in 2025 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai as a part of their Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025. However, the tickets for these shows were sold out in a few minutes leaving many fans of the British music band hopeless. The overwhelming response crashed BookMyShow’s app and website for a short while.
The ticket scam
Maharashtra police's cyber wing also issued a notice to BookMyShow, ordering the implementation of strict action with regard to the sale of the Coldplay show tickets. The notice aimed to prevent the exploitation of fans who were asked to pay an unfair amount of money for the concert ticket.

This will mark Coldplay’s first visit to India in eight years. Coldplay last performed inMumbai as part of the Global Citizen Festival in 2016.
Is the band retiring?
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin recently revealed that the popular band will make only a total of “12 proper albums”. Speaking with PEOPLE, Chris said that it’s important for them to know their limit and have it.
In the interview, Chris said, "We are only going to do 12 proper albums, and that's real...less is more. And for some of our critics, even less would be even more. It's really important that we have that limit. There's only 12 and a half Beatles albums. There's about the same Bob Marley, so all of our heroes. and also having that limit means that the quality control is so high right now, and for a song to make it, it's almost impossible, which is great."
