Director Subhash Ghai's heart is full of pride. A video of the US’s women’s artistic swimming team performance on the theme song of his 1999 movie Taal has been widely shared on social media.

Recently, a video of the month-old performance caught Subhas' eyes, who was overjoyed to see Hindi film representation on the global level.

Shared by Ghai, the video showed a group of women swimmers performing the song ''Taal Se Taal Mila.''

Ghai expressed his happiness by sharing a screengrab of the video on X.

A fan account of AR Rehman has shared the video of the performance. The mesmerizing clip shows a group of swimmers' synchronised performance on the instrumental version of ''Taal Se Taal.''

"Taal Se Taal is perfect for any cultural event… AR Rahman is truly is the face of Indian music," an X user wrote sharing the clip.

Composed by music maestro AR Rehman and written by Anand Bakshi, the song is sung by Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan. The 1999 song is pictured on Aishwarya Rai.

World Aquatics Championships 2024 was held between February 2-18 in Doha.
