Randeep Hooda's directorial and starrer Swatantrya Veer Savarkar which was released on March 22 has entered its third weekend, maintaining a strong hold in cinemas across India.

The biopic-epic which is based on the iconic and controversial freedom fighter of India sustains notable theatre occupancy and box office collections which is a testament to its compelling narrative combined with strong word-of-mouth promotions. The film has been received well nationwide, particularly in Maharashtra establishing itself as a regional favourite where it has scored highest throughout the weeks. 

The film earned Rs 2.85 crores (Rs 28.5 million) in its 3rd weekend, taking the total worldwide gross to Rs 27.80 crores (Rs 278 million) so far. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh in a post on X wrote, ''#SwatantryaVeerSavarkar crosses ₹ 20 cr mark, the weekend numbers (Rs 2.90 cr) - especially on Sat and Sun - saw a spike… #Maharashtra is performing best, taking the biz forward.''
