Security beefed outside Salman Khan’s residence after Baba Siddique's murder

The entire Bollywood is in shock after the murder of politician Baba Siddique. The well-known politician and three-time MLA was shot dead on Saturday, October 12. He was 66.
After the killing of the NCP leader, security has been beefed up outside the apartment of Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
Invisuals going viral, several security personnel and police officers are seen stationed outside Khan's Galaxy Apartment in the Bandra area. Since over three years now, the actor has times received several death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. In April, two bike-borne assailants fired shots outside the actor's residence. Since then, Khan has always been guarded by heavy security.
The tightening of security outside Salman's home appears to be a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police haveregistered a case and are currently investigating the case. The identitiesof the two assailants have been revealed as Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap.

The case has been registered at Nirmal Nagar Police Station under Crime Registration No. 589/2024, Sections 103(1), 109, 125, and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Sections 3, 25, 5, and 27 of the Arms Act, and Section 37 and section 137 of the Maharashtra Police Act, as per ANI.
Salman shareda close relationship with NCP leader Siddique and his family. Soon after the politicians's death was announced, the actor was among the first ones to visit the Lilavati Hospital.
The actor looked visibly disturbed when he was spotted outside the hospital on Saturday night.
An inside source has told India Today that the actor is devastated after Siddique's death. A source close to the Siddique family told the news website, “Bhai [Salman] has been on the phone checking on the funeral arrangements and every other detail. He has cancelled all his personal meetings for the next few days as well.”
Meanwhile, Siddique's funeral will be held on Sunday (Oct 13) after 7 pm. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced that the late politician would be cremated with full state honours.
