Malaika Arora arrives at her parents’ home from Pune; ex Arjun Kapoor, Khan family pay visit

Malaika Arora was seen rushing inside her parent's apartment complex on Wednesday, hours after her father, Anil Arora, allegedly died by suicide. Malaika was reportedly out of town when she heard the news and rushed back to Mumbai.

The police said that he died by suicide, by jumping off the terrace of his Mumbai residence.

Arbaaz, Arjun visit Malaika

An hour before Malaika's arrival, her younger sister Amrita and her husband Shakeel Ladak were seen rushing in along with Malaika's son Arhaan Khan. As Malaika got out of her car, she was seen rushing inside.

Malaika's ex-husband and Arhaan's father, actor Arbaaz Khan, was one of the first to arrive at the Arora residence in Mumbai's Bandra area as the news of the tragic death came to light.

Malaika's ex-boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor, was also seen rushing inside. Arbaaz Khan's family, including brother Sohail Khan, parents Salim and Salma and sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri, were also seen at the model-TV personality's family home.

Arjun was seen acknowledging the members of the Khan family with foldedhands. Several Mumbai Police officials are also present at the spot.

Anil Arora's death

News agency ANI stated that according to police, the reason for the suicide is not clear yet, and no suicide note has been recovered so far.The body has been sent for post-mortem. Police rushed to the spot and shifted Anil to a hospital, where he was declared dead before arrival.

Raj Tilak Roshan, DCP, Mumbai Police, while speaking to the press, said, "Body of one Anil Mehta was found. He resided on the 6th floor. We are carrying out further investigation and our team is here. We are investigating all angles in detail. Our teams are here, forensic teams are here as well...Body is being taken for postmortem. We are investigating everything in detail...Prima facie, it seems to be suicide, we are conducting further investigation."

Meanwhile, a source told PTI, "It's true that Malaika's father passed away this morning. He has not committed suicide, it's an accident. They all are shocked because he had no ailment or anything as such. The police 'panchnama' will make things clear," the source said.
