The whole world is gearing up for the Met Gala 2024, and this year, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt will be at the MET Gala, as per Indian news channel India Today. Bhatt made her debut at one of fashion's biggest events of the year in 2023. However, there is no official announcement regarding Bhatt's appearance at the event.
Last year, Alia channelled her inner princess at The Metropolitan Museum of Art as she walked at the iconic stairs wearing a custom Prabal Gurung ball gown made of pearls for the Met Gala theme 'Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty', which was a homage to the legendary fashion designer.

Alia's outfit featureda floor-sweeping skirt,a deep neckline and a bodice made with thousands of pearls. She kept her hairstyle simple with dewy makeup that added more elegance to the look. Has Alia Departed For New York?
OnSaturday night (May 4), the actress was spotted at Mumbai's Kalina airport as she reportedly left for New York to attend the event.
This year, the Raazi star will be one of the few Indian celebrities who will be part of the Met Gala fashion parade.

This year, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone will be skipping fashion's biggest event.
Both Priyanka and Deepika have been a regular for the last few years. The reason behind their absence from the event are their work commitments.
During the interview, Priyanka revealed that she will not attend this year's Met Gala because she's busy filming her next project.
“I don't even know who's going this year. I’m definitely not attending this year because I’m filming, but I think I really do enjoy watching people's creativity during the Met Gala and I am really excited to see how it will turn out. I actually have not read anything about who all is going this year,” she said.
