Virat Kohli reached yet another milestone as he equalled MS Dhoni's record for most number of consecutive wins as the ODI captain.

In the ongoing five-match series, India bagged the winning spot against the reigning world champions with a lead of 3-0.

The spotlight during the match was on all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who batted away to victory with 78 runs in 72 balls.

India's victory over Australia in the third-ODI on Sunday was its ninth consecutive win under Kohli's leadership. The previous record under Dhoni during February 2008 and January 2009.

India's current winning spree begun on July 6 this year when it won the final match at Sabina Park against West Indies by eight wickets.

Up till now, the skipper Virat Kohli has led 30 ODI victories in 38 matches with an 81.08 per cent wins.
