Pakistan pacer Aamer Jamal took a sensational one-handed catch to dismiss England skipper Ollie Pope on second day of the first Test in Multan on Tuesday (Oct 8). Pope had come to open the innings with Zak Crawley after regular opener Ben Duckett suffered a blow to his hand while taking a catch to dismiss the last wicket of Pakistan's first innings.

It was the second over of England's innings when Naseem Shah bowled a length delivery and Jamal took the blinder at mid-wicket off a Pope pull. Have a look at the wicket below:

England, however, became vigilant after the wicket and suffered no further loss by the end of day's play. The visitors scored 96/1 in 20 overs played with Crawley staying not out on 64 off 64 while Joe Root was unbeaten on 32 off 54.

Earlier, Pakistan finished their first innings on a hefty 556 after skipper Shan Masood top-scored with 151, opener Abdulla Shafique scored 102 and Salman Agha managed 104 down the order.

Pakistan started the day at an overnight score of 328/4 and England had to wait long before nightwatcher Naseem was dismissed by Brydon Carse as the first wicket of the day. Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan was next to go on duck before Agha joined Saud Shakeel on the crease and the duo added 57 runs for the seventh wicket.

After Shakeel's (82) dismissal, Agha lost Jamal as partner quickly before pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi (26 off 49) stuck around and together they added 85 runs for the ninth wicket.

For England, Jack Leach was pick of the bowlers with 3/160 in 40 overs he bowled. Among others, Gus Atkinson and Crase took two wickets each while Chris Woakes, Shoaib Bashir and Joe Root picked one each.
