Australia all-rounder Cameron Green is 'looking forward' to the five-Test home series against India to get one up on potential World Test Championship (WTC) 2023/25 Final opponents. Australia had beaten India in the last WTC Final as well despite losing two consecutive Test series against them at own home ground.
"Yeah, I think it's always an amazing rivalry and I think lots of things come out of the tournament every single time we go versus each other. So yeah, I'm sure this series won't be any less. So yeah, looking forward to it," Green said during a conversation on Star Sports.

"Every single point is pretty crucial for the World Test Championship. Any way you can kind of get an idea of how to get one up on your opponent, I think we'll try and take," he added.
With India and Australia being the top two Test teams on the current WTC points table, Green noted that the upcoming home Test series is an opportunity to get some information.
"If it is a bit of a preview for a World Test Championship final again, I think yeah, we've been trying to get as much information out of India and see how we can win it again," said the Aussie all-rounder.
Ever since winning the 2024 T20 World Cup earlier this year the Indian cricket team has not played a lot of cricket apart from a couple of limited-over series.
Their next assignment is a two-Test home series against Bangladesh before hosting New Zealand for a three-Test series. India then travels to Australia for a five-Test Border-Gavaskar series which starts late November.
India last lost a Test series against Australia in 2014 and havewon four series (two home and two away) against them since then.
