India in danger of missing WTC Final after New Zealand whitewash. Here's how they can still make it

India's shocking whitewash in the three-Test home series against New Zealand has left them in danger to qualify for the World Test Championship (WTC) Final for 2023/25 cycle. India now only have an away tour of five Tests against Australia and they need to win it at least 4-0 to make it to the WTC Final without help from other teams.
India currently are second spot on the WTC table with 90 points from eight wins, five losses and one draw in 14 games they have played in this cycle. They have a total of 98 points and a percentage of 58.33% - second to Australia's 62.50%.
By beating Australia 4-0 India would be assured of a top two finish with a maximum win percentage of 65.79%, which is slightly better than New Zealand's maximum attainable win percentage of 64.29% even if the Kiwis beatEngland 3-0 in three-Test series at home.
There are a few more scenarios of how India can still manage to be in top two even if they don't beat Australia 4-0.
If India lose to Australia 2-3, New Zealand draw England 1-1, South Africa draw 1-1 in both their remaining series and Australia draw 0-0 against Sri Lanka in away tour, India will finish with 53.51% which would suffice for second place behind Australia's 58.77% and ahead of New Zealand (52.38%), South Africa (52.78%) and Sri Lanka (51.28%).
