The game was released as a paid early access title on July 25, 2017, for Microsoft Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The update 1.6.3 is introduced alongside Fortnite's Battle Royale. It will have Duos and Squad matches for Battle Royale.
