Land Cruiser 10th Victory Edition marks Toyota's Dakar success

Toyota Land Cruiser 10th Victory Edition Launched in the UAE

To celebrate Toyota’s 10 consecutive victories in the Dakar Rally (in the production car category), the brand has launched the Land Cruiser 10th Victory Edition for sale exclusively in the United Arab Emirates. However, this special edition is based on the LC J300, not the LC 250, and builds upon the Black Edition of the SUV that was already on sale in the country.

Carrying over elements like the black-finished grille, skid plate, and mud flaps from the Black Edition, the 10th Victory Edition introduces a bespoke set of black and grey decals placed on the sides, paying homage to the Land Cruiser’s motorsports legacy, new 18-inch black alloy wheels, and dark accents. The rather simple-looking wheels are shod with 285/60 R18 tyres. Upon closer inspection, another small update can be seen with the red-finished towing hooks at the front.

The Land Cruiser 10th Victory Edition is available only with the 3.5-litre petrol V6 engine that pushes out 409bhp. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox and Toyota’s 4WD system.

Inside, the dual-tone black and beige colour scheme remains unchanged.

The special edition is priced at AED 319,900 ($87,095), which is lower than the $112,415 price tag of the flagship Land Cruiser trim, the GR Sport, in the UAE. In India, the standard Land Cruiser 300 retails for ₹2.10 crore (~$251,863).
