Iran Revolutionary Guards (IRGC)said Tuesday (Oct 1)that its missile attack on Israel targeted "three military bases" nearTel Aviv.
"We targeted three military bases around Tel Aviv", Israel's commercial hub, the Guards said in a statement carried by news agency ISNA.
Tehran Times, Iranian state-backed media, earlier reported that Israel's Nevatim air base was targeted in the attack. The air base reportedly houses Israel's F-35 fighter jets.
Responding to the attacks,President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran said“adecisive response was given to the Zionist regime’s aggression."
“In accordance with the legitimate rights and with the goal of ensuring peace and security for Iran and the region, a decisive response was delivered to the Zionist regime’s aggression,” Pezeshkian’s post on X read.
However, Israel claimed the attack didn't impact the capacity of its armed forces.
