Nevada, a Mountain West state, voted on November 5 in the presidential race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. The state has six electoral votes in the Electoral College.

Nevada was a crucial swing state. No Republican nominee has won in Nevada since the victory of George W Bush in 2004 but Trump changed that in 2024. Here are the results from key races.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump won the Nevada popular vote, thereby bagging the six electoral votes of the state.

Trump won 50.6 per cent of the popular vote.

Kamala Harris got 47.5 per cent of the popular vote, becoming the first Democrat to lose the state in two decades.

Nevada US Senate election result

Voters cast ballots forone of the state's two senate seats.

Democratic incumbent Jacky Rosen retained the seat, defeating Republican Sam Brown. Inone of the most closely watched races Rosen got 47.9 per cent of the votes, as against Brown's 46.2 per cent.

Nevada 2024 US House of Representatives election results

Nevada voted to elect four US representatives, with all its congressional districts going into polls. Out of these, the Democratic party won three seats, while the remaining one went to the Republicans.
