Elon Musk’s X faces massive outage, 80% of users report issues

Users ofsocial media platform X experienced brief outages in the United States around 10:28 am ET on Saturday (Sep 7) that lasted less than an hour.
Downdetector.com reported over 8,000 outage reports at the peak of the disruption. It also said at least 80 per cent of X users in the US reported issues.

The Saturday outage came in a series of issues that Elon Musk’s platform has faced since he took over.
It was not clear what caused the outage.

Earlier, X acknowledged the issue and said their technical team is actively working to resolve the issue. The company issued a statement on its official support page, apologising for the inconvenience and assuring users that they are investigating the cause.
