After Yemen ex-president's death, Houthi leader reaches out to Saleh's party

A day after Ali Abdullah Saleh was killed, Saudi-led coalition warplanes hit the capital city Sanaa as the Arab League condemnedthe killing of the former president of Yemen.
Ahmed Ali Saleh, the son of slain leader talking to a TV channel called for revenge against Iran- backed Houthi rebels, saying: "I will lead the battle until the last Houthi is thrown out of Yemen...the blood of my father will be hell ringing in the ears of Iran."
Ahmed Ali, a former military commander who lived under house arrest in the United Arab Emirates, said he is ready to "take back Yemen from the Iranian Houthi militias."
Meanwhile, the Arab League said the Houthi movement which killed Saleh was "terrorist organisation".
However, the rebel camp led by Abdul Malik al-Houthi "celebrated victory". Houthi called for a mass rally on Tuesday at a parade ground near the site of the attack which killed Saleh.
In a turnaround, Houthi said his movement had no quarrel with Saleh's party in a bid to gain allies in a complex fight for power in Yemen.
In the southern city of Aden, where the Saudi-backed government is based, residents set off fireworks and expressed joy, Reuters reported.
