UK school tutoring: One third of £594m post-lockdown cash unspent, says reports
Just around a third of the £594 million budgeted for tutoring to assist kids catch up after Covid lockdowns has been used. Outside of school hours, the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) of the government provides private or group tutoring. The government claimed that the programme had benefited millions of kids, Labour dubbed it a "shocking failure".
