South Africa have lost a fourth World Cup semi-final having tied another in 1999. The Proteas are referred to as chokers by Cricket fans but this time they fought hard and pushed Australia extremely hard in the second semi-final at Kolkata's Eden Gardens. The bowlers bowled their hearts out against Australia but a poor batting performance cost the Proteas a shot at a first World Cup final.
