Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike enters day 21; activist hospitalized
Climate activist and educator Sonam Wangchuk was removed from the protest site at Jantar Mantar early Saturday morning, and shifted to VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital. The move came on the 21st day of his indefinite hunger strike, which he began on June 28 to demand systemic accountability and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan following alleged irregularities in competitive examinations like NEET-UG.
