Rubio On Ties: India 'Strategic' Partners, Pakistan 'Tactical'

Marco Rubio has drawn a clear distinction between India and Pakistan in recent remarks, calling India a “strategic” partner while describing Pakistan’s role as more “tactical” in US foreign policy. He also said that discussions around Pakistan acting as a mediator in Iran-US tensions never came up in talks with India, while stressing that US-India relations have not lost momentum and continue to grow steadily.
