India strongly rejects Nepal’s objection over Lipulekh trade route dispute

India’s Ministry of External Affairs has firmly rejected Nepal’s objections to the resumption of border trade with China via the Lipulekh Pass, calling Kathmandu’s territorial claims “untenable” and “not based on historical facts and evidence.”
Despite dismissing Nepal’s claims, India reiterated its willingness to resolve the boundary issue through constructive dialogue and diplomacy.
