India: Indigenous Ghatak Drones in Spotlight; Drones Being Developed by DRDO
India’s indigenous Ghatak stealth combat drone programme is drawing fresh attention as the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) accelerates development of next-generation unmanned strike capabilities. Designed as a stealth flying-wing Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV), the Ghatak drone is expected to carry precision-guided weapons and penetrate heavily defended airspace without risking pilots’ lives.
