Historic Texas wildfire torches 1 million acres
Fire crew fought to contain a wildfire that grew to the largest on record in Texas' history. The blaze, dubbed as the Smokehouse Creek fire scorched more than 1 million acres of grassland and timber, and destroyed homes in small towns that dot the panhandle region.
