Himachal rainfall: Red alert in Himachal as heavy rains trigger landslide risks
Himachal Pradesh is on high alert as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts an intense spell of monsoon activity across the state from July 19 to July 23, 2026. Following a relatively subdued start to the monsoon, weather conditions are expected to deteriorate significantly, with a Red Alert issued for parts of the state on July 20 and 21.
