Britain joins Indo-Pacific trade bloc

The United Kingdom has entered into a major trans-Pacific trade pact. Britain is now the 12th member of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership. CPTPP was set up in 2018 between 11 countries in order to boost trade ties. Britain now aims to Carter trade barriers with the Indo-Pacific agreement and is expected to open new avenues and trade opportunities for the UK.
