Bolivia’s National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (SENAMHI) has issued an orange alert across multiple departments following severe winter storms and heavy snowfall. The extreme weather has heavily impacted highland communities, disrupting rural transport, threatening agriculture, and affecting over 100,000 residents across regions like Potosí, La Paz, and Oruro.
