The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, known as the ACCC, has filed significant lawsuits against the nation’s largest supermarket chains, Woolworths and Coles. The regulator alleges that these companies misled consumers by keeping prices stable for extended periods, before increasing them just before advertising discounts.
