
US presidential elections candidate Donald Trump while speaking to the crowd on Tuesday (Oct 22)went after his Democratic rival Kamala Harris and made several personal remarks by calling her “lazy”, a term used earlier to demean black people.
An event was organised in Miami, to get the support of Latino voters, where Trump called Harris “lazy as hell” because she did not plan any event on Tuesday. He also said that Harris is very “slow”.
On the same day, at a rally in Greensboro, Trump made several personal remarks on Kamala Harris. He called her “a low IQ individual” and “a stupid person”. He also questioned whether she consumes drugs. Trump made a personal remark on Tim Walz, Democratic vice presidential candidate, and said he is "the stupidest man" running for office.

Following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, Trump pointed fingers at the federal government for its response to the storm. He also urged the displaced voters to ask for ballots at their temporary accommodations. Due to the extreme rainfall caused by Hurricane Helene for three continuous days in western North Carolina, the mountainsides were converted into mudslides.
Kamala Harris had political campaigns for two weeks in different states. After a rigorous schedule, she did not plan any political or public event on Tuesday (Oct 22).

Republican presidential candidate Trumphas signalled that hewill try to criticise Kamala for the remaining US election campaign. However, his allies have asked him to refrain from making personal remarks on his opponent.
During the rally he also asked why Arab Americans would support Harris after being endorsed by Liz Cheney, the daughter of former Vice-President Dick Cheney. Trump also blamed him for his role in the Middle East conflicts that emerged during the Bush era.
