The Chinese-owned video sharing app TikTok will soon set a&nbsp;new default screen time limit of 60 minutes for its users under the age of 18. According to the app, if an individual hits the daily screen time limit, they will then have to enter a passcode to continue to use the service that day, which they will receive&nbsp;in their app only. It also stated that users will be given a choice to opt out of this new measure.

The social media company said it is introducing this new measure to help people "stay in control" of their use, which will roll out in the coming weeks, CNN reported.

If anyone uses the app for over 100 minutes a day, they will receive a prompt from the app to set their own screen time controls.

Parents of young children will also be able to set the screen limit according to their convenience, and will be able to access the dashboard, which could give them a specific breakdown of app usage.

Head of trust and safety at the app, Cormac Keenan, said the company worked with researchers in developing the new limits. He said, "while there's no collectively endorsed position on the 'right' amount of screen time, or even the impact of screen time more broadly, we consulted the current academic research and experts from the Digital Wellness Lab at Boston Children's Hospital in choosing this limit."

This new measure comes after the app prompted teens last year to manage their screen time. The app said that this helped "increase the use of screen tools by 234 per cent."

Constance Marten and Mark Gordon, the runaway couple have&nbsp;been further arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter as police search for their missing baby.&nbsp;The couple was arrested when the metropolitan police were looking for their baby under an urgent search operation. The police now feared that the couple may have harmed the baby.&nbsp; Since their arrest on Monday, the couple has neither revealed the whereabouts of their child nor its gender to the police officials.&nbsp;

Police said on Tuesday that the child has potentially been exposed to the winter weather. They have taken this matter&nbsp;increasingly seriously because there is a high possibility that the child's&nbsp;life is in imminent danger.

Since the birth of their baby, the child had not received any medical attention. Police learned that Ms Marten had given birth, possibly in the back of the vehicle without a midwife.&nbsp;

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford, from the Metropolitan Police, said the risk to the baby,&nbsp;now thought to be about two months old, increased as time went on, especially amid cold weather.

He added that police must now "be open to the fact this may not end in the way we would like".

Police told the local media that the couple was discovered by the officers from Sussex police in Stanmer Villas in Brighton. The couple was found on Monday night after a member of the public reported locating them shortly before 9:30 pm (local time).&nbsp;

Marten, 35 and Gordon, 48 have been travelling around the UK by taxi since their car was last found burning on the M61 in Bolton, Greater Manchester on January 5.&nbsp;

Previously it was believed by the authorities that the couple had been sleeping rough in a blue tent and had avoided being tracked by the police by moving around frequently. In all the CCTV images and videos seen by the police, their faces were covered as they deliberately tried to go undercover.&nbsp;

Investigators said they were worried the baby was being "exposed to sub-zero temperatures" and said they were "extremely concerned" for their wellbeing.

They managed to raise about $270,000 to help James, the elderly janitor, get some much-deserved rest. According to local media, he was forced to come back to resume the daily work routine when the rent was increased to $400 a month.

Initially, the students had aimed to raise about $10,000 when the campaign was started on online fundraising website GoFundMe on February 15. "This is our 80-year-old janitor who has rent raised and had to come back to work. Let's help Mr James out," Greyson Thurman, one of the students, wrote on TikTok along with a photo that captured the elderly man in the middle of his daily routine.&nbsp; “Nobody at that age should be working; they should be living the rest of their life," Thurman told KDFW Fox 4, a local news outlet. In a span of 10 days, however, around 8,600 users came forward. The top donor contributed $2,500.

However, those involved in the business of porn aren't all that worried. “Anyone who thinks AI-generated images of hot naked women is going to ruin the OnlyFans economy for real-life women has a fundamental misunderstanding of what OnlyFans is,” OnlyFans star Laura Lux said on Twitter last month.

Most respondents are confident that by the end of 2023, their retirement savings will be higher than in 2022, and investors were also convinced they would get closer to their retirement objective. But the respondents were not sure if they would have enough money saved to support their current standard of living after retiring from work.
