The two accused escaped on a bike and were apprehended in Gujarat on Monday late night. They have now been brought to Mumbai. Identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, they were arrested from Bhuj on Monday and are reportedly a part of Lawrence Bishnoi's gang.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Yet another project involving Salman Khan and Karan Johar has gone into cold storage much before it began. The two had last year announced that they would collaborate on a film called <em>Bull</em> which would be helmed by Vishnuvardhan. However, new reports have emerged that Khan has decided to walk out of the project.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
An army film, <em>Bull </em>is being produced by Karan's Dharma Productions. The movie was initially scheduled to start production in November 2023, but it faced several delays. First, it was pushed to January, then February, and finally May. After several discussions, Karan requested more time until July, but Salman decided to prioritise Sajid Nadiadwala's film instead. Sajid's movie with filmmaker AR Murugadoss is ready to start filming in May 2024 and Salman will start working on it. Meanwhile, Karan is now aiming to begin shooting for <em>Bull</em> in November 2024.<br />

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Salman decided to walk out due to uncertainty. A source was quoted as saying, “After a lot of back and forth on the dates, Karan (Johar) and Vishnu (director Vishnuvardhan) were still not able to commit to the exact timelines of the shoot. That's when Salman conveyed his decision to back out from the project. Salman politely informed his decision to Karan. Bhai (Salman Khan) said, ‘Destiny doesn't want this film to happen, so let's move on.' Karan is exploring newer ideas for a collaboration with Salman.”<br />

“He (Karan Johar) might give another try to make Bull a reality but at the moment, the army film is shelved from Salman's end. If Karan can commit to a certain timeline on paper, he might come back and try his luck to relaunch the project,” the source added.<br />

Karan Johar has always been vocal about how Salman Khan helped him by taking on a role that many others had refused. Many would recall Salman played the character of Aman Mehra in Karan Johar's directorial debut, <em>Kuch Kuch Hota Hai</em> which had Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji in the lead.&nbsp;<br />

On the superstar's 58th birthday last year, Karan expressed his gratitude to Salman by sharing the anecdote in a detailed Instagram note. The filmmaker wrote, "25 years ago I was at a party lost and confused... A massive movie star came up to me and asked me why I was standing by a corner... I told him I had been to several actors for a part but was politely rejected... The superstar's sister is close to me so he graciously said she had spoken highly of my script and that I should meet him the next day to narrate the film to him."<br />

However, new reports have emerged that Khan has decided to walk out of the project. An army film, Bull is being produced by Karan's Dharma Productions. The movie was initially scheduled to start production in November 2023, but it faced several delays. First, it was pushed to January, then February, and finally May. After several discussions, Karan requested more time until July, but Salman decided to prioritise Sajid Nadiadwala's film instead. Sajid's movie with filmmaker AR Murugadoss is ready to start filming in May 2024 and Salman will start working on it. Meanwhile, Karan is now aiming to begin shooting for Bull in November 2024. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Salman decided to walk out due to uncertainty. A source was quoted as saying, “After a lot of back and forth on the dates, Karan (Johar) and Vishnu (director Vishnuvardhan) were still not able to commit to the exact timelines of the shoot. That's when Salman conveyed his decision to back out from the project. Salman politely informed his decision to Karan. Bhai (Salman Khan) said, ‘Destiny doesn't want this film to happen, so let's move on.' Karan is exploring newer ideas for a collaboration with Salman.” “He (Karan Johar) might give another try to make Bull a reality but at the moment, the army film is shelved from Salman's end. If Karan can commit to a certain timeline on paper, he might come back and try his luck to relaunch the project,” the source added. Karan Johar has always been vocal about how Salman Khan helped him by taking on a role that many others had refused. Many would recall Salman played the character of Aman Mehra in Karan Johar's directorial debut, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which had Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji in the lead. On the superstar's 58th birthday last year, Karan expressed his gratitude to Salman by sharing the anecdote in a detailed Instagram note. The filmmaker wrote, "25 years ago I was at a party lost and confused... A massive movie star came up to me and asked me why I was standing by a corner... I told him I had been to several actors for a part but was politely rejected... The superstar's sister is close to me so he graciously said she had spoken highly of my script and that I should meet him the next day to narrate the film to him." “I went with a prayer in my heart and a deep desire for a miracle and narrated the first of the film like my life depended on it... He looked at me at the interval point (by then I was looking like I was at the Sahara desert and water could keep me alive) kindly offered me water and said I'm on. <p>Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal is speaking out after a violent attack near his Canada house. On Saturday, gunshots were fired near his house in the White Rock neighbourhood of Vancouver, Canada.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hours after the shocking incident, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi took responsibility, threatening the singer over his close relationship with Bollywood actor Salman Khan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Confirming the firing, Grewal told CNN News 18, that he was still in shock and was unable to process what had&nbsp;happened. The gunshots were fired between 12:30 am to 1 am.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“This happened last night, around 12:30 am to 1 am. My house is in West Vancouver, the incident took place there. We cannot comprehend what has happened and why it has happened,” he said before adding,&nbsp;“When this incident happened, I was shocked because I have never faced any controversies before. I have no enmity with anyone so I couldn’t even think who could have been behind the attack.”</p>

The tropes are familiar and writers Sridhar Raghavan and Aditya Chopra ensure that Salman Khan and even Katrina Kaif are shown larger than life with a story that may not always make sense, but has twists in abundance and is high on drama, and patriotism, Yet <em>Tiger 3 </em>somehow does not stay with you once its over.&nbsp;<br />

Salman Khan once again reprises his role as RAW agent Tiger who now lives in Austria with his wife Zoya (Katrina Kaif) - a former ISI agent - and their son Junior (how original a name!). Sent on a covert mission to a land from where no one comes out alive by RAW chief (Revathy grossly underutilised), Tiger meets his old nemesis/colleague who on his deathbed reveals that a new terrorist group poses a huge threat to the security of the sub-continent. The group's leader is Aatish Rahman (Emraan Hashmi ) who forces Tiger and Zoya to steal a crucial briefcase that poses a threat to the security of India and Pakistan. The couple agree because Rahman has held their son hostage and it is an operation that can put their careers at stake forever.&nbsp;<br />

While the plot seems credible, it is the numerous twists that can be a little mind-boggling. Somewhere in the second half, when Shah Rukh Khan appears in an extended cameo as Pathaan - I realised I had lost track of the plot. Why are Pathaan and Tiger fighting, who are they fighting and in which country is not clear.&nbsp;And director Maneesh Sharma indulges the audience with an elaborate action sequence which seems endless and illogical. It has two ageing superstars of Bollywood trying to make us believe that they are actually performing these death-defying stunts - sure if they insist so. The story eventually finds a footing as it nears the climax when the pace truly picks up.</p>

But when it comes to the story, it tries to arm-twist the emotions of patriotism of the viewers. Like <em>Pathaan</em>, <em>Tiger 3</em> too doesn't call Pakistan bad but points out that some of its people are terrible. Tiger in fact at one point mentions that it is his in-law's home and he will rise up to the occasion to protect his in-laws.&nbsp;</p>

Katrina Kaif on the other hand gets elaborate fight sequences that showcase&nbsp;her fitness. Kaif as the no-nonsense Zoya has also aged and beats up more than she talks. Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, brings in his charm and cockiness and much like <em>Pathaan</em>, <em>Tiger 3</em>'s high point is the banter between the two Khans amid fighting the Pakistani army and shielding themselves from crashing helicopters and machetes.&nbsp;</p>

And so <em>Tiger 3</em> gives you a sense of deja vu.<br />

I wish the writing was more credible. <em>Ek Tha Tiger</em> and <em>Tiger Zinda Hai </em>had a coherent plot but in <em>Tiger 3,</em> the story seems like the least of the concerns for the makers. Instead,&nbsp;it glorifies Salman Khan as this larger-than-life action hero who can jump off cliffs and fight men double his size easily. No harm in that but at least back it up with a proper story, no?<br />

When the story shifts to Pakistan, the stereotypes hilariously kick in. The Urdu becomes more pronounced which is comical and totally unnecessary, and the glorification of India becomes more obvious and naturally funny.<br />

If you have been a fan of Salman Khan films, you may like <em>Tiger 3</em>. It has Khan playing a cool suave spy who single-handedly can save a country. If you like the idea of YRF's Spyverse, there is an easter egg in the end that is worth waiting for. But if you are looking for a coherent story and a slick spy thriller - maybe this is not the best film in the <em>Tiger</em> franchise.&nbsp;<br />

<p>With just days left for <em>Tiger 3</em>- Salman Khan's new film- to hit theatres across the nation, the excitement is palpable. The film has already shown a promising start in terms of advance bookings and makers are hoping to create a box office record with the film, the third in the <em>Tiger</em> franchise.</p>

<p>Considering the film is releasing on a holiday and a festive day, makers have organised early morning screenings. And while many fans are ready to give up on their Sunday sleep to catch the first-day, first show of <em>Tiger 3, </em>Salman Khan has a different view on it.&nbsp;<br />

Salman and Katrina Kaif recently met some fans at an event ahead of the release.</p>

<p>When the emcee of the event told him that there were shows from 6 am in the morning, Salman said he would miss it and then added, "<em>6 baje toh thik hai, but saat baje ke baad na flight pakdi jaati hai na films </em>(I can manage to watch the show till 6 am but I can't catch either a flight or a film after 7 am)." According to a tweet by news agency ANI, it is not known what the threats said but a case has been registered at the Santacruz Police Station against the owner of the social media account.</p>

<p>In May, actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan also received a death threat letter. The letter stated that the father-son duo would meet the same fate as singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot dead in Mansa district.</p>

<p>After the letter was reported to the police, Salman and his family's security was enhanced. Investigators had suggested that the Bishnoi gang had a role in sending the threat letter and they wanted to extort money from Bollywood personalities.</p>

<p>Salman met newly-appointed Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar o Friday at the latter's office in south Mumbai.&nbsp;According to a report by News18, the Bollywood actor had submitted a written application to the Police seeking a weapon license for his own protection after getting death threat letters. And, according to the same publication, his recent visit to the headquarters was in the context of the license.</p>

<p>Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker also received a death threat letter in June.&nbsp;Mumbai Police registered a case and started investigating&nbsp;the matter after the actress reported the incident.</p>

<p>The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has placed Bollywood actor-producer Sohail Khan, his son Nirvaan Khan and brother Arbaaz Khan under quarantine in Taj Lands End hotel in Mumbai.<br />

Earlier on Monday, an FIR has been registered against the trio under Section 188 IPC under 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act by the complainant, a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) medical officer.&nbsp;<br />

The FIR was been filed at Khar police station. According to the complainant, the trio had returned from Dubai on December 25 and was asked to remain in quarantine in a hotel but instead, they chose to go home.<br />
<br />
According to the health ministry`s norms, the returnees from the UK and UAE as well as Europe are required to undergo a seven-day institutional quarantine.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The state government put the norms in place after a new strain of coronavirus reported from the UK.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
As per the experts, the new COVID-19 strain is more transmissible than other SARS-CoV-2 variants.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the video he said that he had sent a friend to get rations for the family from a village around five kilometres away.<br />

He recounted that the police stopped him and in the process, his friend took off the mask to speak to the policeman who reprimanded him and asked him to put the mask back on. Salman said that he too chided his friend for doing such a thing.<br />

"Don`t go out, don't do social gatherings, stay with your family, the government has said if you are doing namaaz, do it at home, do pooja at home..." the actor said, adding that those who had a wish to kill their families should step out.<br />
<br />
"Go out get your ration, nobody is stopping you, go nearby but wear your masks, your gloves, go alone," the actor said underlining that the government has assured that everybody will get ration.<br />
<br />
The actor said that whoever does not understand a coronavirus positive patient's pain is anti-human. He pointed out that doctors, nurses and policemen are putting in long hours to curb the spread of coronavirus and urged people to respect their work and stay inside.<br />

The actor said policemen would not have taken action and hit people if they followed guidelines and stayed inside.<br />
<br />
"If you weren't going out with friends, police wouldn't have hit you. Do you think police are enjoying it?," he asked."Doctors and nurses are working to save your lives and what do you do? You started pelting stones at them? Those who have been diagnosed with coronavirus, are running away from the hospitals. Where are you running? Towards life or death?," he questioned in his video.</p>

<p>On Saturday, media reports claimed that Salman Khan was continuing shooting in Mumbai for his upcoming film 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' even as the makers insisted that they were adhering to all safety norms on set.&nbsp;<br />

<p>Ali Abbas Zafar spent several days thinking about a perfect name for the lead character of his upcoming film and the director says he even delved into mythology until he got a perfect title in 'Bharat'.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The film, which is scheduled to release on June 5, is a remake of 'Ode To My Father'.</p>

<p>Ali says he was extremely impressed with the 2014 Korean drama but the adaptation had to be in sync with the Indian sensibilities. "I didn't want to call it 'Ode to My Father.' I wasn't looking only at the promise he makes to his father but a lot of other things. I told Salman I'll make the film as not only his but the nation's journey. But I needed to know what the character should be called," Ali told PTI.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The director said since Salman was headlining it, the film had to be 'completely re-written', while simultaneously finding an ideal Indian name for the hero.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I thought Ram is an ideal hero from mythology. Could the character be called Arjun because he is doing it for his dharma, karma? Or should he be called Karna, a selfless hero? What do I call the film?&nbsp;I felt if he is synonymous with what the nation has been over the generations, he should be named after the country. One night at 3AM, I was tossing on the bed, thinking hard, and then I had it: Bharat," he said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He immediately shared the name with Salman and producer Atul Agnihotri.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had the title registered under him so I told him about our film. Both Salman and Atul also jumped on it. Once I found the title, I started writing the film."</p>

<p>Ali Abbas Zafar, who has previously helmed blockbuster Salman Khan films such as 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai' was clear that he needs to put his maximum work into the writing.&nbsp;</p>

'Tiger' was a rescue drama with action but 'Bharat' is solely a film on relationships. That was a new territory for me. At 36, I wanted to explore a man at 70. I pushed myself."</p>

<p>The film features the 53-year-old superstar in several looks, depicting changing decades, and Ali Abbas Zafar says 'Bharat' has "six Salman Khan films in it."</p>

<p>"The soul is the same throughout every look but every chapter is like a story, with a beginning, middle and an end. Like the thin moustache he sports is a hat tip to the Guru Dutt era.''</p>
