According to Dar, the process to finalise the statement took 2.5 days as Pakistan refused to accept the initial draft. "I received phone calls from big capitals to come to a consensus on the draft, but I told them nothing doing," he said. Rescue efforts are continuing in the picturesque Swat Valley tourist destination, located in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province, with several people still missing.<h2>How the tragedy unfolded</h2>A family of 18 from Sialkot, as well as several others were on a piccnic when water surged suddenly in the morning, around 8 am local time. The tourists were having breakfast by the riverbank when the water level rose due to heavy rains upstream. Footage captured by onlookers showed several people including chlidren marooned on a narrow strip of land, with water roaring past them on all sides.&nbsp;Rescue wokers who rushed to the scene confirmed that at least seven people have died so far, including two children. At least three people have been rescued, while others remained missing.&nbsp;Rescue efforts were hampered due to the strong currents.
