The T10 Sports Management chairman Shaji Ul Mulk on Saturday said that before the start of the league in 2017, he discussed the idea of a 10-over format with Mahendra Singh Dhoni to take some suggestions and the legend gave a positive response to it, however, advised to not tweak the rules of the game in any case.

As per reports, Dhoni will be involved with the Indian cricket team once again in some sort of a role after retiring from IPL next year. Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt shared his views on Dhoni's potential return to the Indian setup after the reports emerged recently.

Butt believes Indian cricket can benefit from having Dhoni in the coaching setup as he is someone with a lot of experience behind his back and is a proven winner as a leader. Butt also lauded Dhoni's tactical acumen and urged BCCI to use his brain in taking Indian cricket forward.

By an interim order passed on March 18, 2014, the court restrained Sampath Kumar from making any statement against Dhoni. Irfan Pathan had a meteoric rise in international cricket after making his debut for the Indian team in 2003. At a time when India were in desperate need of quality fast bowlers, Irfan's emergence came as a breath of fresh air as he made batters dance to his tunes with his pace and swing.

He is currently playing for Bhilwara Kings in the Legends League Cricket and has impressed some fans with his performances despite being 37 and not having played much competitive cricket recently.

Of course, I also want to see how many catches he took during practice before that.. if he had a problem somewhere and he is making efforts to get better or not. I used to focus on all these aspects instead of focusing on whether a catch was dropped.
