As Courteney Cox, who famously played Monica in the hit TV show, received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Monday, her friends and former co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston cheered for her from the front row. The event also had actress Laura Dern in attendance.&nbsp;<br />

<p>"I wasn`t right for the part (or)&nbsp;for the chemistry of the group. So that wasn`t working but I did think, `Oh, I am not this guy`s cup of tea,`" she said of director James Burrows and his decision to scrap Kudrow for that of Peri Gilpin.</p>

<p>The Kelsey Grammer-led `Frasier` ran for 11 seasons on NBC from 1993 to 2004. Paramount+ announced in February that a revival series was given the go-ahead with Grammer set to reprise his role as Frasier Crane.</p>

<p>Perhaps, Burrows, who directed a few episodes of `Friends` as well, wanted to see Kudrow in another light as the star&nbsp;also revealed that she was "the only one of the six (`Friends` stars)&nbsp;who had to go in and audition for (Burrows)," adding that she "had one extra audition just for James Burrows."</p>

<p>"I did it and he went, `No notes,`" Kudrow recalled of the career moment. "I left going, `That either means she`s beyond help and helpless, just like I always knew,` or `Yeah, it`s perfect. I have no notes.`"</p>

<p>Kudrow ultimately did land the role as Phoebe but she&nbsp;told Stern that she initially didn`t feel as connected to the other characters and wasn`t sure she would jibe with the crew as a whole.</p>

Kudrow told Reuters via Zoom she found it "a little bit mind-blowing because you don`t really fully get the impact that the show had on people internationally and the personal stories that you would hear about over the years. It`s really nice. I go to sleep now thinking `Ah, I did a good thing`."<br />

In the series 'Feel Good', which is entering its second and final season, Kudrow plays the mother of Mae, a non-binary comedian who is struggling with the demons of her past while trying to keep up a relationship with girlfriend George.<br />

The first series was critically acclaimed and Mae Martin, who based the series on her own experiences, won two Royal Television Society awards for Best Writer - Comedy and also the Breakthrough Award.<br />

"Once I was sent the script ... I loved it. I loved every episode, I loved what it was about," said Kudrow.<br />

However, her attachment to the project meant that the 'Friends'&nbsp;star would have to travel to the United Kingdom where most of the series was shot during the pandemic.<br />

"I was anxious about it but then forgot it once I was there on their set with the COVID protocols. I felt perfectly safe," Kudrow said.<br />

As the show is based on Martin`s own experiences, she suffered from a lot of anxiety leading up to the launch of the first series.<br />
<br />
Martin said she`s still a little apprehensive about the second season. "It was all such an unknown with series one. I had no idea how people would feel about it ... last time I was just terrified about my parents watching it but now I know they love it, that`s a huge weight off so yeah I do feel a lot less freaked out."<br />
<br />
"Feel Good" will begin streaming on Netflix on Friday.</p>

That`s what the stars of 'Friends' imagine their characters would be doing 17 years after the hit comedy series came to an end in 2004.<br />
<br />
Ahead of a one-off reunion special to be aired next week, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry spoke with People magazine about the reunion, and their memories of the show.<br />
<br />
"I always just feel like Monica would be doing something competitively with other mothers and trying to outdo them. Whether it`s the bake sale at school or something. I mean, she`d be so annoying. She`d be at the head of the PTA or something," Cox told People.<br />

'Friends' reunion teaser out! To premiere on this date

<p>The much-awaited reunion episode of 'Friends' is on the horizon, assures actor David Schwimmer. Schwimmer who played Ross in the iconic show recently appeared on SiriusXM's Radio Andy and confirmed that the HBO special episode will be filmed in the coming month.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It's happening," the actor said of the reunion. "Actually, in a little over a month, I'm heading out to L.A."</p>

<p>The six cast members along with the show's creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane will sit down for an unscripted chat with Ellen DeGeneres. The episode will be shot on NBC comedy's original soundstage where the hit show was shot years back.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"So, finally, I mean, we figured out a way to film it safely and there's going to be a portion of it that we filmed outside because of, you know, for safety protocols," added Schwimmer.</p>
