<p>The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was meant to serve as a reunion for 2022 inductee Duran Duran, but former member Andy Taylor was unable to attend, with the band revealing his cancer diagnosis during their onstage speech Saturday.</p>

<p>In accepting the honour, frontman Simon Le Bon read an open letter from Taylor, who said that just over four years ago he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer.</p>

<p>"Many families have experienced the slow burn of this disease and of course, we are no different," Taylor wrote. "So I speak from the perspective of a family man but with profound humility to the band, the greatest fans a group could have, and this exceptional accolade."</p>

<p>Taylor said the disease was "not immediately life-threatening" but "there is no cure."</p>

<p>"Despite the exceptional efforts of my team, I had to be honest in that both physically and mentally, I would be pushing my boundaries," Taylor said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"However, none of this needs to or should detract from what this band (with or without me) has achieved and sustained for 44 years."</p>

<p>Speaking to journalists backstage at the ceremony, Le Bon called the news "absolutely devastating."</p>

<p>"We love Andy dearly," he said. "I'm not gonna stand here and cry, I think that would be inappropriate, but that's what it feels like."</p>

<p>The 1980s-hit British band broke ties with Taylor in 2006, citing an "unworkable gulf" between him and the New Wave innovators.</p>

<p>Former member Warren Cuccurullo, who was initially expected to attend, also did not go to the 2022 ceremony in Los Angeles.</p>

<p>In an unfortunate turn of events, Migos rapper Takeoff,&nbsp;whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot dead early in the morning on Tuesday in Houston, Texas. After confirming from several law enforcement sources and multiple eyewitnesses, a publication reported that the famed rapper was killed at a bowling alley called 810 Billiards &amp; Bowling Houston around 2:30 am.&nbsp;</p>

<p>If reports are anything to go by, the youngest member of Migos,&nbsp;Takeoff, was visiting the bowling alley with Quavo. There he&nbsp;got into an altercation with someone and in retaliation, the unidentified man opened fire at him, injuring several at the location. The bullet, unfortunately, hit Takeoff on or near his head and he was pronounced dead on the scene.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a footage obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Quavo can be seen at the crime scene in an orange shirt. According to reports, the onlookers tried to move Takeoff at first, but then they placed him back on the ground and Quavo yelled for help.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Julia Roberts' 55th birthday, a video of the Hollywood actress resurfaced on social media, in which she is seen saying that the late Martin Luther King Jr and his wife Coretta Scott King paid the hospital bills at the time of her birth as her parents were not financially stable and couldn't afford the expensive medical bills.</p>

<p>In the now-viral clip, she is seen having a conversation with Gayle King and revealing that her parents, Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts, formed a strong connection with Luther King Jr and his wife Coretta when they were running a theatre school in Atlanta.</p>

<p>Speaking to Gayle King, Roberts said, "One day Coretta called my mother and asked if her kids could be part of the school because they were having a hard time finding a place that would accept her kids."</p>

<p>"My mom was like, 'Sure, come on over', and so they all just became friends, and they helped us out of a jam," she added. And,&nbsp;as a gesture of appreciation for their kindness towards the couple, they decided to pay hospital bills for Roberts' parents.</p>

<p>Gayle praised Julia's parents' decision as back then people didn't see "little black children interacting with little white kids in acting school".</p>

<p>Actor Daniel Radcliffe has done a lot of work to shed his days as the hero in the Harry Potter film franchise. Even though rumours pointed to him succeeding Hugh Jackman as the next Wolverine in the X-Men movie franchise, the English actor is debunking all those claims.</p>

<p>"It's purely a press tour rumour; I say something, and then occasionally I get bored of answering that way so I say something different, and that sets it off again. I should just never open my mouth," he recently told GQ in an interview.</p>

<p>Being easily identifiable by a role is something Radcliffe knows can be difficult to shake off and that's why he says he doesn't "ever want to get locked into something that I am not sure I will be able to love the same amount the whole time."</p>

<p>Earlier this year and while appearing on The View, co-host Ana Navarro asked Radcliffe about the rumours he was next to play Wolverine, something that he denied.</p>

<p>Director and writer James Gray recently gave an interview to talk about his new film 'Armageddon Time', which released in theatres on October 28. Speaking about the film which he claims is inspired by his childhood in 1980 Queens, he defended his decision of casting actors who aren’t Jewish as Jewish characters in the semi-biographical film.</p>

<p>Speaking to The New York Times, Gray said that he takes huge offence to critics' idea that Hopkins shouldn’t be playing a Jewish character. He shared that he makes a casting decision based on people's craft and not their religious or cultural identities. In the film, Hopkins plays a Jewish immigrant from Ukraine who escaped the Holocaust.</p>

<p>"I reserve the right," he said while talking to the publication about his casting decision. "It’s my story,"&nbsp;he said. "And you don’t have to say that my story is of value, but that’s a different criticism."</p>

<p>He argued that casting Jewish actors for Jewish roles can lead to stereotyping. "I take huge offence to that as well. Because that means what people want is [puts on a Yiddish accent] ‘Hello, I am the Jewish grandfather!'" Gray said. "But that’s not what my grandfather was like."</p>

<p>"Does that person watch The Godfather and complain that Marlon Brando is from Omaha, Nebraska, and not an Italian New York guy?" he added. <p>Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth is all set to play Geralt of Rivia in the fourth season of ‘The Witcher’. The 32-year-old has replaced&nbsp;Henry Cavill. And,&nbsp;Cavill has shared the news himself on social media.</p>

<p>Taking to Instagram, Henry dropped a photo with a long note, which read, “My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season 4. In my stead, the fantastic Mr Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf."</p>

<p>He further wrote, "As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam’s take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men. <p>Hollywood actor Will Smith recently revealed that when he was in a "really dark place" due to&nbsp;his public altercation with Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscard Awards,&nbsp;he had a "champion"&nbsp;by his side, who is none other than Floyd Mayweather.</p>

<p>During a private screening of his 'Emancipation' movie at The London hotel, the actor took a moment to praise and thank Mayweather, who was in attendance at the screening, for being there for him and counselling him.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Will shared that Mayweather called him every day for about 10 days straight after the Oscars&nbsp;slapgate, just to make sure he was okay.</p>

I already had been thinking about cashmere, but I think it (pregnancy) just made me think about how much more settled I would feel to have an office space job. <p>Haddi went on to elaborate that there's always a temptation to link oneself to fast fashion which often has instant gratification and revenue, but she wanted to go down a more thoughtful and sustainable route. Hence, she picked cashmere as her brand's main focus.</p>

<p>She said, "I thought that it was a bit not necessarily obvious, but expected for me to come out with something that was more a fast-fashion type situation. (Cashmere) just felt like the right material that I could play with in a lot of different ways that was true to me, true to my style."</p>
