“I just work on my rhythm and strengths and focus on how batsmen are trying to play me. My aim is to land the ball on the good length area as much as possible,” Kuldeep explained.&nbsp;

Speaking with the ICC after India's win against Bangladesh, Kuldeep said: "It's very important to start off very well with the first Powerplay. Jasprit and Siraj have done really well.”&nbsp;

“Not just giving us wickets, but probably just containing the runs as well (for) when me and Jaddu bhai (Ravindra Jadeja) come to bowl.”

"We're getting the good wickets as well, but it's very important to keep it very simple and just maintain that in every game, that's very important.

"If you pick an early wicket in the middle overs, definitely it gives you confidence and it just controls the run rate as well.”

Talking about India's next game against last edition's runners up New Zealand, Kuldeep agreed that the opposition are good but they (India) are comfortable with the cricket team is playing.

"The opposition is good, but we feel we are very comfortable, playing good cricket. That's more important than anything,” Kuldeep said.

"Obviously when you face good sides in the World Cup, there's a lot of pressure, but at the same time it's very important to keep calm and keep playing good cricket.

"We as a team are doing really well, so we'd just like to continue the same in the next game.”

Rohit Sharma-led Team India have been in top form in the home ODI World Cup. After three games, India have equal number of wins and will lock horns with Bangladesh on Thursday (Oct 19) in Pune. On Saturday (Oct 14), India met Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad and demolished their arch-rivals by seven wickets, and 117 balls to spare.

With this win, India are atop in the points table and marching ahead with high chances of entering the semi-finals in the top-two. Rashid Latif, former Pakistan captain, lauded India's ace spinner Kuldeep Yadav after the Men in Blue's easy win over his national side and predicted the 29-year-old Kuldeep to end as the highest wicket-taker of the ongoing edition.

Latif feels Babar Azam-led Pakistani batters weren't aggressive against Kuldeep and only tried to play out his overs in Ahmedabad.&nbsp;Writing in his column for The Indian Express, he said, "Against Kuldeep, we looked timid, we were trying to just play out his ten overs. Not a single Pakistan batsman was able to pick Kuldeep (Yadav), and I think if he is not rested in a few matches, Kuldeep will end up being the leading wicket-taker of the tournament."

At the moment, Kuldeep has five wickets (third-most by an Indian) and occupies the sixth spot in the leading wicket-taker list. Jasprit Bumrah leads the overall chart with eight wickets, who was also the Player-of-the-Match versus Pakistan for his 2 for 19, whereas Ravindra Jadeja also features in the top five (fifth) with equal number of scalps as Kuldeep.

Latif, however, feels India should play R Ashwin in every game. Ashwin, who was selected in the World Cup squad at the last minute after Axar Patel's injury, played versus Australia but has warmed the bench in the next two games. "I was surprised that India didn’t pick Ashwin. I feel he should play all the matches for India. If Ashwin had played I don’t think we could have even got 190 on the board,” Latif added.

India will look to maintain their winning run when they lock horns with the Bangla Tigers on Thursday.&nbsp;

Rashid Latif, former Pakistan captain, lauded India's ace spinner Kuldeep Yadav after the Men in Blue's easy win over his national side and predicted the 29-year-old Kuldeep to end as the highest wicket-taker of the ongoing edition. Latif feels Babar Azam-led Pakistani batters weren't aggressive against Kuldeep and only tried to play out his overs in Ahmedabad. Writing in his column for The Indian Express, he said, "Against Kuldeep, we looked timid, we were trying to just play out his ten overs. Not a single Pakistan batsman was able to pick Kuldeep (Yadav), and I think if he is not rested in a few matches, Kuldeep will end up being the leading wicket-taker of the tournament." At the moment, Kuldeep has five wickets (third-most by an Indian) and occupies the sixth spot in the leading wicket-taker list. Jasprit Bumrah leads the overall chart with eight wickets, who was also the Player-of-the-Match versus Pakistan for his 2 for 19, whereas Ravindra Jadeja also features in the top five (fifth) with equal number of scalps as Kuldeep. India made a remarkable turnaround in the World Cup encounter against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday (Oct 14). The architect-in-chief to engineer Pakistan's downfall was Kuldeep Yadav who first bowled alongside Ravindra Jadeja to apply the breaks before tearing the Pakistan middle-order apart.&nbsp;

Speaking to broadcasters after the first innings, Kuldeep said the Indian bowlers focused on varying their pace as the wicket was playing slow which handcuffed the Pakistani batters.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"The wicket was a bit slow. We were focusing on the length. They were not attacking too much so I was just focusing on my pace and my variations," said Kuldeep.&nbsp;

Despite being granted the opportunity to bat first by India on a wicket that was excessively flat, the Pakistani batters never really looked to cash in on it. Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan played&nbsp;rather conservative&nbsp;innings which allowed India to get back into the contest after only taking two wickets in the first 30 overs.&nbsp;

According to Chawla, he has no fear of getting dropped as he is enjoying the form of his life.

“Sometimes you have that fear of failure. Because you think if I don't get the wickets then I might not play the next game. The 28-year-old has enjoyed a stellar 24 hours since Monday evening as he picked five wickets against Pakistan followed by four against Sri Lanka on Tuesday. He was instrumental in India’s success on the flat tracks of Colombo and will be expected to perform at the same heights during the World Cup in India next month.

He along with Jadeja picked six wickets on Tuesday as there were encouraging signs for the duo after Sri Lankan spinners scalped all of India’s 10 wickets. The spin-friendly environment in Colombo could play a key role as India bid for their seventh Asia Cup title.
