<p>Neil Wagner expressed: "Yeah, it is like a World Cup final for me. The biggest disappointment, I guess, in my career is that I've never really played a white-ball game for New Zealand or never been able to crack into the T20 or the one-day game."</p>

<p>"That ship has probably sailed now and I don't think the opportunity will ever come. For me now, it's about putting all my focus and energy into Test cricket and to be able to play in a World Test Championship final is like a World Cup for me" - he added.</p>

Cricket- WTC final clash between India and New Zealand will host 4,000 spectators: Reports

<p>The Virat Kohli-led Indian team is set to clash with Kane Williamson's New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship final, to be played in Southampton from June 18, and the expectation for the huge match is touching its pinnacle. It will be an opportunity for both teams to get their hands on the&nbsp;inaugural ICC trophy for Test cricket and build up themselves as the best team in the longest format of the game.</p>

<p>Team India has a solid bowling line-up including pacers Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur&nbsp;and spinners R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With the World Test Championship around the corner, Indian seamer Umesh Yadav mentioned the significance of getting Kane Williamson out as cheaply as possible.</p>

<p>Umesh said that Indian bowlers should get Williamson out as early as possible to get momentum in their favour.</p>

<p>"We do have a fair idea about Kane’s game, though I don’t think he has too many weaknesses. Of course, any quality batsman can fall to a good delivery, so as a fast bowler, you should look to stick to your strong points and bowl more of those balls which can fetch you wickets. And yeah, we need to get Kane out as early as possible as that’ll surely benefit the team," Umesh told The Telegraph.</p>

<p>Against India, Williamson has played 11 Tests, scoring 728 runs at an average of 36.40, including four half-centuries of two centuries. India had lost both their Tests against New Zealand a year ago, and the impending challenge is required to be an intense one for the Kohli-led team.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Umesh reckons it will be an intense game while commending the Kiwis for their profundity in the batting order.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"New Zealand are a strong side, they bat deep and their pacers are quite experienced and lethal. So it will be a tough game. English conditions are also a big challenge for us and so is playing against a team like New Zealand. But being Test players, we need to play with discipline and make sure we remain disciplined right throughout in all aspects of the game. The team that maintains such discipline in each and every session will prevail" - he added.</p>

The Virat Kohli-led Indian team is set to clash with Kane Williamson's New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship final, to be played in Southampton from June 18, and the expectation for the huge match is touching its pinnacle.

The Virat Kohli-led Indian team is set to clash with Kane Williamson's New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship final, to be played in Southampton from June 18, and the expectation for the huge match is touching its pinnacle. It will be an opportunity for both teams to get their hands on the inaugural ICC trophy for Test cricket and build up themselves as the best team in the longest format of the game. Team India has a solid bowling line-up including pacers Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur and spinners R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel. With the World Test Championship around the corner, Indian seamer Umesh Yadav mentioned the significance of getting Kane Williamson out as cheaply as possible. Umesh said that Indian bowlers should get Williamson out as early as possible to get momentum in their favour. Of course, any quality batsman can fall to a good delivery, so as a fast bowler, you should look to stick to your strong points and bowl more of those balls which can fetch you wickets. And yeah, we need to get Kane out as early as possible as that’ll surely benefit the team," Umesh told The Telegraph. Against India, Williamson has played 11 Tests, scoring 728 runs at an average of 36.40, including four half-centuries of two centuries. India had lost both their Tests against New Zealand a year ago, and the impending challenge is required to be an intense one for the Kohli-led team. Umesh reckons it will be an intense game while commending the Kiwis for their profundity in the batting order. "New Zealand are a strong side, they bat deep and their pacers are quite experienced and lethal. So it will be a tough game. English conditions are also a big challenge for us and so is playing against a team like New Zealand. But being Test players, we need to play with discipline and make sure we remain disciplined right throughout in all aspects of the game. The team that maintains such discipline in each and every session will prevail" - he added. Cheteshwar Pujara had registered a gritty century in the first innings but no one apart from Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane managed to tackle the English bowlers in the second innings. Moeen Ali was the standout bowler for England as he ended up with a total of nine wickets in the match. Hasta la vista, Dhoni 🎯 #CWC19 pic.twitter.com/TWxbKULjCQ — ICC (@ICC) July 10, 2019 × Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni played cautiously and tried to save the sinking Indian side after the top order crumbled. With 25 runs required off just 10 deliveries, India were always up against it, but when Martin Guptill ran out MS Dhoni with a deadly throw it was all but over. Cheap and disgusting video. ICC should focus on things that actually matter, like who the hell scheduled world cup in England in this weather, where rain took the most out of it. Mocking Dhoni & cheering for India’s loss was not expected from an international sports organization. — Nitin Singh Chauhan (@nitinschauhan) July 11, 2019 × The throw by Guptill sent back MS Dhoni who was India’s last hope in the World Cup semi-final and India were left 18 runs short of New Zealand's total of 239. It's not cricket... A great player who feel so bad that he was literally crying after he can't make it to the end & you are making memes on it... You better focus on raising standard of umpiring... — Dheeraj Shukla (@dheerajbs) July 11, 2019 × The video didn’t go down well with the Indian fans and they took to Twitter to show their dissent on the distasteful tweet by the apex cricketing body. — Pun of god (@Punofgod) July 10, 2019 × We need an answer @ICC 😑 pic.twitter.com/neVby2Z3aW — 𝕷𝖎𝖓𝖟-𝕮𝕾𝕶𝖎𝖆𝖓♥💛♥ (@Linz0425) July 10, 2019 × @ICC don't give us repeatedly heartbreak plz. Angry Indian fans fume over ICC's 'Hasta la vista' tweet on MS Dhoni

<p>Indian fans felt the pain after India's shock exit from the Cricket World Cup 2019 as New Zealand defeated India by 18 runs in the semi-final.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Black Caps will face either host England or defending champions Australia on July 14 at Lord's.&nbsp;</p>

<p>India got off to a poor start as they were reeling at 24/4 while chasing a modest victory target of 240 in what had appeared to be a one-sided match.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, Ravindra Jadeja and veteran Mahendra Singh Dhoni rekindled the hopes of the cricket-crazy nation with a fighting seventh-wicket century partnership but it wasn't enough as India, were all-out for 221.&nbsp;</p>

<p>During the game, an umpiring error&nbsp;got unnoticed as the Twitter users have pointed out that the ball on which Dhoni lost his wicket was actually a no-ball as more than five players were outside the circle at that time.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per the rules, maximum of five players are allowed outside the 30-yard circle from 40 to 50 overs, which is the third Powerplay.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, on the third ball of the 49th over, Dhoni hit the ball and called for two runs to keep the strike, but he fell short by inches and a brilliant direct throw by Martin Guptill had Dhoni departed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Although Dhoni would have been given out despite the ball being a no-ball but given the situation, Dhoni might&nbsp;have tried just a single knowing the fact that next ball would be free-hit.&nbsp;</p>

World Cup: Umpiring error haunts India as MS Dhoni lost his wicket on no-ball

<p>The rain gods played spoilsport on Tuesday in the semi-final 1 between <a href="https://www.wionews.com/sports/indias-jasprit-bumrah-has-bowled-most-maiden-overs-in-world-cup-2019-234432">India </a>and New Zealand as the match was halted and the players were off the field at Old Trafford in Manchester in the 47th over of the New Zealand innings.</p>

<p>The weather forecast on Wednesday is not too bright either.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is expected to be cloudy in the morning and the sun may come out when the semi-final resumes on the reserve day at 10:30 AM BST (3 PM IST).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rain is expected to hit the pitch again at 12 PM BST (5:30 PM IST) and again by 5 PM (9 PM IST).</p>

"We've seen that anybody can beat anybody," said Williamson, who will now look to lead New Zealand to their first World Cup title against either champions Australia -- the team that beat them in the 2015 final -- or hosts England at Lord's on Sunday. When it was suggested that New Zealand had plunged billions of India fans into a state of mourning, the understated skipper, who has captained the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League, replied: "I hope they're not too angry. "Obviously, the passion for the game in India is unrivalled and we are all fortunate to play this sport and have a country like India be right behind it. "But hopefully we can adopt 1.5 billion supporters and they'll be supporting us, what do you reckon? "The game of cricket is fickle in its nature especially when it comes to the white ball and Twenty20 and one-day cricket. "Today perhaps some of those small margins went our way and it was great that we could get across the line and beat a very strong side." Match in numbers:
