<p>The subpoena, which includes “extensive requests for communications, including ‘checklists, timelines, presentations, decks, organisational calls, meetings, notes, recordings’ related to the deal’s financing,’” has miffed Musk’s high-tech allies.</p>

So much so, that the 76-year-old Errol Musk, has gone public in admitting that his son is yet to accomplish more in life. In a 20-minute interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Errol talked about his son’s business ventures and the rest of Musk family. Moreover, he also took a dig at the Tesla&nbsp;chief’s physical appearance.</p>

<p>“Your offspring is a genius. He’s worth so much money and has created so many things, you can’t take that away from him. Are you proud?” presenter Jackie O asked Errol.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Crypto scammers shared a post lauding Tesla Motors Founder Elon Musk for "donating" three bitcoins after hacking the Instagram account of Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan.</p>

<p>PTI social media head Arslan Khalid told the Dawn newspaper that Khan's account was recovered soon with the help of Instagram's parent company, Meta Platforms.</p>

<p>Impersonating Khan, the hackers shared a screenshot of a tweet from Musk to cash in on his interest in cryptocurrencies.</p>

<p>Not only this but a story was also shared from Khan's account regarding Musk's tweet about winning $100,000.</p>

Former Federal Planning Minister Asad Umar and the Twitter account of PTI Secretary General were also hacked last week but were recovered after several hours. <p>Twitter sued Musk and his company a few days after the decision for backing out of the deal and using the issue of fake users as a “distraction”. While Musk accused Twitter of misrepresenting facts during the deal, the company maintained that they had provided absolute transparency to Musk.</p>

<p>The initial agreement between the two parties also stated that if any side decides to back out of the deal, it&nbsp;will have to pay $1 billion. However, Musk has refused to pay the amount citing the reasons behind his decision and that is another of the demands named in Twitter’s lawsuit.</p>

<p>In her order, chancellor Kathaleen McCormick of the Delaware court of chancery decided to fast-track the trial with both parties agreeing on October 17 as the starting date. She also said that the decision was taken to reduce Twitter’s risks due to the deal not going through.</p>

<p>The Twitter-Elon Musk saga is still on with an interesting court battle to follow. In the latest development, Twitter on Friday (July 22) blamed disappointing results on "headwinds," including the uncertainty over the multi-million dollar Twitter&nbsp;buyout bid.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The legal battle started after Twitter sued Musk for breaching the $44 billion contract he had signed to buy the tech firm. Twitter has asked a Delaware court to order Musk to complete the merger at the agreed $54.20 per Twitter share.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The company reported that Twitter missed expectations with revenue of $1.18 billion, due to "advertising industry headwinds... as well as uncertainty related to the pending acquisition of Twitter by an affiliate of Elon Musk."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Jasmine Enberg, who is the principal analyst at research firm Insider Intelligence, said, "Twitter is now in the unenviable position of convincing advertisers that its ad business is solid regardless of how its court battle with Musk ends, and its Q2 earnings show that the platform has its work cut it out for it to do that."&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to Refinitiv IBES data, the advertising revenue rose just 2% to $1.08 billion. It missed Wall Street expectations of $1.22 billion.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Friday, Twitter shares opened flat at $38.90. Twitter also reported that the number of "monetizable" daily active users increased by 8.8 million, less than expected by analysts, to 237.8 million. Monetizable daily active users are those who can be shown advertising.&nbsp;</p>

Jasmine Enberg, who is the principal analyst at research firm Insider Intelligence, said, "Twitter is now in the unenviable position of convincing advertisers that its ad business is solid regardless of how its court battle with Musk ends, and its Q2 earnings show that the platform has its work cut it out for it to do that." According to Refinitiv IBES data, the advertising revenue rose just 2% to $1.08 billion. It missed Wall Street expectations of $1.22 billion. On Friday, Twitter shares opened flat at $38.90. Twitter also reported that the number of "monetizable" daily active users increased by 8.8 million, less than expected by analysts, to 237.8 million. <p>But Musk’s response to the tweet won the hearts of everyone.</p>

<p>Lawyers for Twitter and Elon Musk squared off for the first time in court on Tuesday (July 19). According to a judge in the eastern US state of Delaware, social media giant Twitter can fast-track its lawsuit against Musk over his cancelled buyout.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The trial will take place in October over whether or not the Tesla chief can be forced to complete his $44 billion deal to buy the social network.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Tuesday, the Delaware judge ruled against the Musk lawyer's appeal for a February trial. The judge ordered for a month much closer to Twitter's request for September, but did not specify&nbsp;a date.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Savitt noted that "the continued uncertainty caused by Musk's purported termination inflicts harm on Twitter every day, every hour of every day."&nbsp;</p>

<p>The tech company had said that in case Musk is ordered to close the deal it could still take months of additional litigation to close the debt financing, which expires in April. Twitter had asked the judge to reject Musk's proposal to hold the trial in February.&nbsp;</p>

The poop emoji in question was posted by Elon Musk as a reply to Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal's tweet on May 16.</p>

<p>“We suspend over half a million spam accounts every day, usually before any of you even see them on Twitter. We also lock millions of accounts each week that we suspect may be spam – if they can’t pass human verification challenges (captchas, phone verification, etc),” he tweeted.</p>

<p>"The hard challenge is that many accounts which look fake superficially – are actually real people. And some of the spam accounts which are actually the most dangerous – and cause the most harm to our users – can look totally legitimate on the surface," he added.</p>

<p>Musk has denied the claim and has replied "not true" on a news video showing Trump's remarks.</p>

<p>The former US President also commented on the ongoing legal battle between Twitter and Musk. "Elon is not going to buy Twitter. Where did you hear that before? From me...He has got himself in a mess," Trump said.</p>

<p>Trump`s comment comes in the wake of an American billionaire`s decision to back off from the Twitter deal which has led to a lawsuit from the social media giant.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last week, Musk said he is terminating his USD 44 billion deal to buy Twitter citing multiple breaches of the purchase agreement, according to a letter sent by the billionaire Tesla chief`s team to Twitter.</p>
