After around 10 days, Musk tweeted: "Feeling … perhaps … a little bored?" He also posted an image with Pope Francis, In the caption, Musk wrote: "Honored to meet @Pontifex yesterday".&nbsp;

On Thursday, fifteen Black former or present Tesla employees filed a complaint against the electric vehicle manufacturer. They allege that they were the targets of racist abuse and harassment in the company's factories. According to the lawsuit filed in a California state court, the workers said they were frequently the target of inappropriate, racist remarks and actions by coworkers, managers, and human resources personnel. Reuters reports that the lawsuit added that the automaker's "standard operating procedures include blatant, open and unmitigated race discrimination," and that the harassment mostly took place at Tesla's Fremont, California factory.&nbsp;The complainants alleged that the harassment included the use of the terms "nigger," "slavery," or "plantation," as well as sexual remarks.

According to the lawsuit, some of the plaintiffs were even denied promotions or given jobs that required the most physical labour at Tesla.&nbsp;

In recent months, at least ten lawsuits have been filed against the manufacturer, including one from a California civil rights organisation, alleging widespread sexual harassment and racial discrimination.

A Tesla shareholder has also filed a lawsuit this month, accusing Elon Musk, the company's CEO, and the board of directors of promoting a poisonous workplace atmosphere and ignoring employee complaints.

In one of the more public cases involving Tesla, a Black factory worker had accused Tesla of racial discrimination. Former elevator operator Owen Diaz claimed in his 2017 complaint that he was subjected to a hostile work environment at Tesla's Fremont, California, assembly facility, which includes racist slurs, caricatures, and swastikas.

Diaz's rejected this settlement, due to which a federal judge in California also ordered a new trial on Monday on the damages Tesla owes him.

Despite allegations of workplace misconduct, Tesla claims that it has measures in place to deal with it and denies that any wrongdoing has taken place.

His continued absence is unusual as the tech billionaire is known to be highly vocal on social media. Since April, he has been making headlines for the $44 billion deal and his comments and concerns about the presence of a large number of fake accounts on Twitter. Amid the business deal, he had also been making remarks on the ‘imminent’ population crisis the planet is set to face.

Despite the absence, Musk has been facing criticism from some quarters. “@ElonMusk claims to be a moderate/centrist, but he exposed himself as the fraud he is this week. Every day he tweets&nbsp; 
attacks on moderate Democrats, but in a week where Republican extremists go full Gilead — no tweets in 4 days. Convenient. Cc: media, stop buying his lies. (sic)" tweeted Kaivan Shroff, a Democratic commentator and US-based non-profit advisor.

According to him since the gigafactories opened earlier this year they've been struggling to increase production. The Austin factory produces only a "tiny" amount of cars.&nbsp;

One reason, according to Musk, is that the company is having trouble increasing the production of its new "4680" batteries and that the tools needed to build its traditional 2170 batteries are "locked in port in China."

"This is all going to get fixed real fast, but it requires a lot of attention," Reuters reported.

He also said that Tesla's Berlin factory is in a "slightly better position" because it started with using traditional 2170 batteries for cars built there.

In China, authorities locked down a number of cities including the shipping, financial, and manufacturing hub Shanghai. Musk said that this was "very, very difficult" for Tesla.

"The past two years have been an absolute nightmare of supply chain interruptions, one thing after another, and we're not out of it yet."

Earlier this month, Musk mentioned having a "super bad feeling" about the economy and cutting staff by 10 per cent, halting hiring worldwide. Last week, he confirmed that the 10 per cent cut would happen over three months.

Since dogecoin does not have any intrinsic value nor is it a product, Johnson has likened it to a pyramid scheme.

“There’s no WeChat equivalent outside of China,” Musk was quoted as saying after joining 10 minutes late to the virtual meeting via his phone on Thursday.

“You basically live on WeChat in China. If we can recreate that with Twitter, we’ll be a great success.”

He also reportedly praised TikTok’s algorithm for not being “boring,” saying “we could hone Twitter in the same way to be interesting.”

He specifically placed emphasis on Twitter being better at surfacing news.

At townhall, Musk wanted Twitter to be like TikTok, WeChat, have a billion users: Report

After internal documents showed that SpaceX employees had denounced CEO Elon Musk as a ''distraction'', the aerospace company has fired them for the rebuke as per a report published in the New York Times.

Citing three employees with knowledge of the situation, the New York Times reported that SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell sent an email saying the company had investigated and "terminated a number of employees involved" with the letter.

According to the report, it is unclear how many employees were terminated but a group of SpaceX employees derided Musk as a "distraction and embarrassment" in an internal letter to executives.

In a list of three demands, the letter says "SpaceX must swiftly and explicitly separate itself from Elon's personal brand."&nbsp;

It added: "Hold all leadership equally accountable to making SpaceX a great place to work for everyone" and "define and uniformly respond to all forms of unacceptable behavior."

SpaceX, which recently cleared a key hurdle for its plan to launch a futuristic rocketship into orbit from Texas, was facing a review by the Federal Aviation Administration regarding environmental concerns.

The company had faced criticism after wreckage from its failed flights rained down at the southernmost tip of Texas.

Musk, who is also SpaceX's chief engineer, has been in headlines and late-night comedy monologues in recent months for a tumultuous quest to buy social media giant Twitter.

A Twitter spokesperson confirmed that Musk would attend the company all-hands meeting this week.

Twitter employees have expressed concerns about the takeover by the billionaire whose erratic behaviour they fear, can destabilise the company.

Back in April, Agrawal was seen quelling employee anger during a company-wide meeting where staff demanded answers to how managers planned to handle an anticipated mass exodus prompted by Musk.

Last week, Musk warned Twitter that he might walk away from his deal to acquire the company, if it failed to provide the data on spam and fake accounts that he seeks.

But Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government insisted Tesla must first commit to manufacturing cars locally before it can offer any concessions. With talks deadlocked, Tesla put its plans to sell cars in India on hold, reassigned some of the domestic team and abandoned its search for showroom space.

Neither Khurana, the company's first employee in India nor Tesla responded to requests for comment.

An email sent to Khurana generated an automated reply saying the address was no longer valid and future emails would not be received.

Electric vehicle maker&nbsp;Tesla&nbsp;Inc on Friday proposed a three-to-one stock split, making its shares more affordable following recent sell-offs of the most valuable automaker.

The company also said Oracle Corp co-founder Larry Ellison, a friend of&nbsp;Tesla&nbsp;Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk, will not stand for re-election to&nbsp;Tesla's board when his term ends at this year's shareholder meeting.

Ellison is among the top investors who have promised funding toward Musk's $44 billion acquisition of social media firm Twitter Inc.

Shares of Austin, Texas-based&nbsp;Tesla&nbsp;rose more than 1 per cent&nbsp;in extended trading on Friday. They have fallen nearly 40 per cent&nbsp;since Musk unveiled his stake in Twitter in early April, hurt in part by a strict lockdown in Shanghai that has affected&nbsp;Tesla's production.

Shareholders will vote on&nbsp;Tesla's proposed stock split on August&nbsp;4. If approved, it would be the company's first such action after a five-for-one split in August 2020.

Tesla&nbsp;said the split would enable its employees to "have more flexibility in managing their equity" and make its stock "more accessible to our retail shareholders."

Alphabet Inc, Apple Inc and Amazon.com Inc have also recently split their shares.

While a split has no bearing on a company's fundamentals, it could buoy the share price by making it easier for a wider range of investors to own the stock.

Tesla&nbsp;will also ask shareholders to vote to reduce its board of directors' terms to two years from three. If approved, the terms would be staggered over two years.

Meanwhile, proposals by&nbsp;Tesla&nbsp;shareholders include corporate governance-related items such as the right of employees to form a union and&nbsp;Tesla's efforts to prevent sexual harassment and racial discrimination.

"In 2021, the National Labor Relations Board upheld a 2019 ruling that&nbsp;Tesla&nbsp;illegally fired a worker involved in union organizing, and that the CEO had illegally threatened workers regarding unionization," according to a stockholder proposal cited in&nbsp;Tesla's filing.

In March, Musk invited labor union United Auto Workers (UAW) to hold a vote at&nbsp;Tesla's California factory. But "Tesla&nbsp;does not have any formal policy commitments to respect the right to freedom of association, nor has it demonstrated how it would effectively operationalise such a commitment," the proposal said.

Tesla's board advised a vote against the proposal, saying&nbsp;Tesla&nbsp;recently increased the base pay for its manufacturing jobs and it is "actively engaged" in protecting employees' rights.

Shareholders also proposed an annual report on&nbsp;Tesla's efforts to prevent sexual harassment and racial discrimination after it was hit by a string of lawsuits.

A California civil rights agency filed a lawsuit accusing&nbsp;Tesla&nbsp;of failing for years to address widespread racist conduct at its Fremont assembly plant.

The scammers made $243,000 (£194,000) in just over a week. They change names and display pictures of the channels to make them look like official Tesla channels, an American automotive and clean energy company headed by Elon Musk.

Youtube blocked these channels after being alerted and said, &nbsp;"We have strict Community Guidelines prohibiting scams, including Impersonation and hacking."

Tesla owner Elon Musk recently slammed the video streaming platform ‘YouTube’ over unnecessary advertisements on their platform. “YouTube seems to be nonstop scam ads” Elon Musk Tweeted on Tuesday.

Musk targeted YouTube over the number of ads the platforms deliver to the viewers, calling it all a scam. Soon after the tweet was published it gathered a lot of attention from the audience. Fans agreed to Musk and asked him to buy YouTube in addition to his Multi-Million Dollar Twitter deal.

Right after sharing his tweet Musk shared a meme, criticising YouTube for its ads and how the company reacts when there is an obvious scam going all over its website.&nbsp;

We believe this agreement is in the best interest of all shareholders. We intend to close the transaction and enforce the merger agreement at the agreed price and terms.,” the official statement from Twitter read.

Twitter to provide Elon Musk with complete data on fake users, says report

Tesla was proceeding with an online hiring event in China on Thursday and added two dozen new job postings for the country, a week after Elon Musk threatened job cuts at the electric car maker and said the company was "overstaffed" in some areas.

Tesla plans to hold the event online starting from 7 pm&nbsp;Shanghai time (1100 GMT) and will recruit staff for "smart manufacturing" roles, according to an online post.

Tesla has 224 current openings in China for managers and engineers under that category, according to a separate post on its WeChat account, 24 of which were newly posted on June 9.

However on Saturday he backed away from the emails, saying total headcount would increase over the next 12 months and the number of salaried staff should be little changed.

Musk had not commented specifically on staffing in China.
