Kolkata's Russell has been in a sensational form in the ongoing edition of Indian Premier League with his incredible power-hitting ability that helped his side win matches.
Russell so far has scored 257 runs in 121 balls he faced and his average his 128.50 also, he is the only batsman with a 200+ strike rate in IPL 2019.
With 25 sixes so far, Russell is also leading the chart of most sixes in the ongoing season of India's cash-rich league.
In Tuesday's match, Russell took it upon himself to post a decent target when other batsman gave away their wickets cheaply against MS Dhoni-led Chennai that Kolkata lost eventually.
The Jamaican refused to take singles to keep the tail-enders at the non-strikers' end. He finished the innings unbeaten on 50 with five fours and three sixes.
