Weightlifter Venkat Rahul Ragala claimed India's fourth gold medal at 21st Commonwealth Games in 85 kg category.
With four gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal India stands at the fourth position of the medal table tally.
Rahul lifted a total of 338 kg weight, 151kg in snatch and 187kg in clean & jerk.
The Indian was locked in a close battle with Samoa's Don Opeloge, who ended with a total of 331kg (151kg+180kg) but 21-year-old Rahul, who is a Commonwealth Championships gold-medallist emerged as the winner.
Earlier, Indian weightlifter Sathish Kumar Sivalingam won gold in the men's 77 kg category on Day 3 of the Commonwealth Games here on Saturday. He successfully lifted 173 kg in his second clean and jerk attempt to bring India yet another gold in weightlifting.
