Modi's two-day visit to the UAE comes to an end today, after which he will head to Oman
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a four-day visit to three West Asian countries, addressed the World Government Summit in Dubai on Sunday.
The PM began his address by thanking the Gulf countries, which he said providealmost 30 lakh people from India a home-like environment away from home.
Asserting that the 21st century was India’s millennium, the PM said, “India’s leap in World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business rankings from 142 to 100 is unprecedented. But we are not satisfied at this, we want to do better. We will do whatever it takes to make it possible.”
Here are the key points of his speech at theWorld Government Summit:
“India’s Mars mission has been a greater success than what movies from Hollywood show.”
“I feel that the next technology revolution will be linked to solar energy. In the last three years, we have generated 62 gigawatts of renewable energy”.
“India’s unique identity programme (Aadhaar) is the largest in the world. My government’s motto is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas’. With Aadhaar, we have stopped leakage worth $8 billion.”

It took us 1000 years to reach from stone age to industrial revolution but only 200 years to reach telecom revolution. It took only a few years for Digital revolution.
