NTA announces new exam dates for UGC NET 2024, CSIR NET
India's National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday (June 28) announced new dates for UGC NET and CSIR NET examinations that had been cancelled over alleged irregularities earlier this month.
Joint CSIR-UGC NET is now slated to be held on July 25 to 27 and will be a Computer Based Test.
The NCET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on July 10 whereas the UGC NET June 2024 Cycle will be held between August 21 and September 4.

India's National Testing Agency on Wednesday (June 19) announced the cancellation of the UGC-NET exam just a day after it was conducted.
The Education Ministry released a statement saying that the University Grants Commission (UGC) on Wednesday received certain inputs from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs on the Examination, and the inputs prima-facie indicated that the integrity of the examination may have been compromised.
The statement further said that the matter was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a thorough probe.
"To ensure the highest level of transparency and sanctity of the examination process, the Ministry of Education, Government of India has decided that the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination be cancelled," the statement said.
