KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik in, Rishabh Pant out as India's ICC World Cup squad announced

The BCCI Selection Committee, along with India captain Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri, met in Mumbai on Monday to select India's 15-member squad for the ICC World Cup to be played in England and Wales.

In a press conference, BCCI announced that Virat Kohli will be the captain and Rohit Sharma the vice-captain of Team India. Shikhar Dhawan is also in the squad.

Election Commission bars Yogi Adityanath from campaigning for 3 days, Mayawati for 2 days

The Election Commission of India on Monday banned Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BSP supremo Mayawati from election campaigning for 72 and 48 hours respectively. As per reports, the ban will come into effect from Tuesday 6 am. 

India successfully test fires 'Nirbhay' missile capable of deceiving enemy radars

India on Monday successfully test fired its 1,000-km strike range sub-sonic cruise missile 'Nirbhay' off the coast of Odisha.

"All the mission objectives of the test have been achieved and the missile performed very well during the entire flight duration," officials in the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) said.
