Comedian Mallika Dua, and her father, veteran journalist Vinod Dua have hit out at Bollywood starAkshay Kumar on social media over an alleged comment by the actor during the recording of a TV programme judgedby Vinod Dua's daughter.
Akshay Kumar while judging acomedy showThe Great Indian Laughter Challenge on Indian television allegedly said, “Mallika Ji aap bell bajao, mai aapko bajata hoon” which did go down well withMallika and her father. The TV channel did not air the segment which contained the alleged comment.
Vinod Dua posted the video clip andlashed out at Akshay onFacebook demanding an apology from the actor.
Facebook deleted the clip due to community standard reasons.
Mallika Dua latertweeted the clip of the show which was leaked later on social media. Mallika tweeted saying,"So, I want humour to be limitless. I also don't want to be uncomfortable at my workplace. The lines are blurred." She later deleted the post and made her account private as netizens began trolling her.
