The Jammu and Kashmir police have neutralised the terrorists who were involved in civilian killings and attacks on security forces in Pulwama on Monday.
The police said that two terrorists were killed after forces had launched a cordon and search operation in the region.
The operation was launched after the police force received special inputs.
The police emphasised that the killing of one terrorist, Sameer Ahmed Butt, was important for the forces as he was active in civilian killings and attacks on security forces since 2016.
A day before the security forces had gunned down two terrorists, Sameer Tiger and Aaqib Khan, in an encounter in Pulwama's Drabgam district.
