Two Army personnel injured following an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces at Pandoshan village in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir in the early hours of Friday, reported news agency ANI.
The operation is continuing.
According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, the security forces cordoned off the area around the incident.
Meanwhile, a vehicle of 55 Rashtriya Rifle (RR) was targeted by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in South Kashmirâs Shopian district earlier today.
Apart from minor damage to the vehicle, no injury or casualty reported following the incident.
On July 31, two terrorists were gunned down by security forces in Kanzalwan village of Gurez sector.
